The Oxford circus and its world famous surrounding streets / Regent's, Carnaby, etc/ are not only the shopping Mecca. Although something like 40 million of people arrive to London every year in December for Christmas shopping, it is also a Lomographic Mecca.

Well in the run up to Christmas York gets absolutely mental with the rush of the christmas fair. Everyone wants to go on the fantastic helter-skelter, merry-go-round and hook-a-duck along with the attractions for families and children, combined with the christmas market York is swarming with festivities and those hungry for roast chestnuts and warm mulled wine!

When I was first discovering Vienna 9 years ago it was around Christmas Time. I was very happy to stay there, of course, but coming from Nice, on the Cote d'Azur, where the winter temperature is nevre going under 10°, I was a little bit surprised of the cold and wet weather in Austria during this season.

Dalida café is XiMenDing's latest hippest addition to the icing of western Taipei. Dalida takes its name from a French diva, who makes regular appearances on the sound system of this Euro-style cafe. Taking advantage of its location on the square in front of the Red Theater, Dalida expands outwards with an outdoor patio and a terrace on the second floor.

The market of "La Boqueria" is a beautiful place in the centre of Barcelona, just located on the main Ramblas, mid-way between Plaça Catalunya and the seafront. Don't be afraid to enter in this crowded place, were the merchants are yelling around to sell their products (the best, of course) and where your eyes can contemplate fish & seafood, vegetables & fruits, fresh meat and a lot of other local productions of very great quality. Sure, that gives you hunger to see all this... in this case, go until the end of the market place, and before you come out, a little bit on your right, you'll found the "Bar de la Boqueria" who serves you all you want in typical specialities of Barcelona!! If you find a seat, take it quickly, a lot of people know this place, and once you're sitting at the bar, you don't want to leave the place until you've tasted a lot of the food you see under your eyes...!! Have a nice walk and a nice meal! And take pictures!! :))))

I must say I have a bit of poor luck with this attraction. My friends and I planned to go to this magic fountain on our first evening, however, before the performance started we decided to grab a meal and go back. Then here comes the pouring rain, getting lost around the back streets, very quiet place... etc etc. all those frustrating moments. We cannot go back to see the performance on time. Argh... Can you believe our luck? Raining our first evening, when we wish to enjoy the sunshine that London doesn't have.

The Wall was opened by the Live House, the independent trade mark, the phonograph record line and by some of independent music singers. Why is it called "The Wall"? "The Wall" was one of the albums of Pink Floyd. It is the spirit of rock. If you are a fan of rock, you have to come here to The Wall. Live performances by local and foreign bands, arranged on Friday and Saturday nights, on a specific holiday and so on, other time intervals non periodically conduct the activities.

You want a place for a party? Get to know funny, cool and creative people? So wait to be invited to Siesta Fiesta Bar! Parties there are the best! A few years ago, some young guys out of our county, Schaumburg (lower Saxony), had the idea to build up a group of interested people. Interested in what? In sports, youth stuff and culture. So they started and it grew bigger and bigger. They started organizing sport activities like football matches, foot bagging and table soccer and entered culture life of Stadthagen and Schaumburg. They got money and rented two rooms in Stadthagen: one is an office where you can meet and organize events, the other room is a bar, totally self-organized by the people there.

At the Davinci Cafe; situated in BeiTou's Taipei National University of the Arts, one can see the entire city of Taipei by night. Looking out the full-length windows, one can even see the Taipei 101. Davinci Cafe not only possesses great views, but their cuisine is also authentic Italian. Whether it is the Grilled Veal Tenderloin Fillet with Goose Liver Sauce, the mixed seafood Plate with Cream Lemon Sauce or other Italian pasta dishes, the food and the views are equally good. All the bread and desserts in the salad bar are prepared by chefs from Hong Kong. The food is so delicious!
