A place where you always find the right book or simply have a nice talk and sometimes a cup of tea. Marianne has a bookstore, its called Der Buchladen Marianne Friedrich. I got to know her a few years ago. She wanted me for organisation-team, so we got to know each other better. She is so nice. I really love to go to her bookstore, to buy a book (they always inform me very well and find EVERY book) or to drink tea and talk.

Azores - so, this is heaven. In any map, you can see some needles heads lost in the Atlantic Ocean over the central rift. People used to say that Azores are the tops of some of the tallest mountains on the planet and what remains from Atlantica.

This is a place which people tend to forget, the name of it is Nan-chuo old street. On this street the local cultural lifestyle and buildings of passed hundred years have preserved very well. In the past this street use to be very lively. But because the economy is not booming here, very many inhabitants move to big cities nearby to work. Thus the street declines more and more. But some inhabitants are not willing to give up. Take a bicycle and ride through this street to get the view of the most primitive life style.

At the corner of the barren highway that is Coastal Road you would see some odd looking shapes peeking over the hastily constructed fences. But by the night fall these shapes come to life in a spectacular display of lomographic glory. Lights of different hues light up Chinese structures made from everyday trinkets like plates, spoons, cd's, what ever you have. Just don't forget to bring films at least at ISO 400. Or a gigantic flash. If it gets too hot, you can also visit the ice light show, where it is minus 18 degrees. Just don't bring your gear inside.
