10 comments and 6 votesThe Kodak HIE Black and White Infrared Film is very nice. I've shot one roll of this film and it was fun! The infrared effect is really neat. The sky will darken with a little bit of haze but it didn't go black completely. Grass, leaves, and foliage turns white. Light skinned people are ghost white- very eerie indeed!

8 commentsThe magic touch of infrared: I was always fascinated by the infrared pictures I could see and wanted to try by myself. I put a roll of Efke 820ir in my Rolleiflex Automat, took a tripod and went shooting in a beautiful park full of trees and with a great sun!

26 submissionsThis film is the real infrared deal! Marvellous spectral sensitivity up to 820nm. What does that mean? When coupled with an opaque red filter your images will blast with pure white wizardry. Trees, clouds and skin will be awakened in white.

1 voteDark red, opaque filters do the business with this extended sensitivity infrared film. Wild white plants and people will seep out of your shots in semi-3D. Experiment with the ‘special aura’ effects you get through overexposing the film. 820nm sensitivity.
