one comment and 4 votesKota Tua or the Old Town of Jakarta is now a place of history and heritage. It was built up by the Dutch during their reign, and then of course the Indonesians finally reclaimed their place. The purpose of the Old Town was for commerce because it was a strategic location, and rich in resources.

1 voteUtena is the city on the north east of Lithuania. It is about one hour from capital Vilnius. Though Utena is a small city there are few churches here. The oldest and the most popular one is Christ’s Ascension church. This church is located almost in the centre of the city. You can see the roof of this church just entered to the city.

1 voteThe Botanical Gardens in Ballarat is a 40 hectare reserve located next to Lake Wendouree, about 4km's from the city centre. It is a great Sunday-arvo picnic location, with trees, flowers, ferns, statues, walkers, and people generally having fun.

1 voteAlanta manor house is located only couple of kilometers from Alanta village in the other small village Naujasodis. The road says that you are arriving to the manor house. You will cross small bridge and the beautiful birch avenue. It is impossible to pass this manor house located in the end of the avenue. Alanta manor house buildings are in neoclassicism style. There are main building and some belonging buildings.
