5 comments and 4 votesOne of the more interesting additions this year was the Smash Shack, a large tent where you could pay money to smash glass plates and dishes against a wall. From what I saw and heard, it seems quite therapeutic.

The Funfair and Its Nomad Community (Ghent)

I was fortunate enough to be accepted onto their camping site as a photographer and was granted all the permissions I needed in order to document their way of life. This is an ongoing project.

1 voteWell in the run up to Christmas York gets absolutely mental with the rush of the christmas fair. Everyone wants to go on the fantastic helter-skelter, merry-go-round and hook-a-duck along with the attractions for families and children, combined with the christmas market York is swarming with festivities and those hungry for roast chestnuts and warm mulled wine!

3 comments and 2 votesOne of the "must visit place in Malaysia" is Danga Bay or Teluk Danga, which is the largest recreational park in the city of Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. It is located near Istana Bukit Serene, about 7 km from Johor Bahru's city center. Many interesting events are held there especially during festive seasons. Danga Bay is also sometimes referred to as the Vision City of the South.

1 voteKaziuko Muge (English: Kaziukas Fair) - is a biggest annual Lithuanian folk crafts fair dating back to the beginning of the 17th century, held on the Sunday nearest to St. Casimir's Day, March 4, the day Saint Casimir Jagiellon died, and is referred to as Kaziukio mugė in Lithuanian, literary - Little Casimir's Fair. Kaziukas is a diminutive of Casimir in the Lithuanian language.
