9 comments and 9 votesHonestly I have to say, I became a fan of this film by incident. First of all I was not really a big fan of Black/White before - I always liked the shots that I saw on magazines but mine never really turned out that nice.

Concert Photography with Fuji Neopan and Superia

35 commentsMy most beloved films when I go to concerts are both from Fuji - the "Neopan 1600 ISO black and white":http://shop.lomography.com/go/?where=shop&pro=baw and "Superia 1600 ISO negative film":http://shop.lomography.com/go/?where=shop&pro=con. Both guarantee I don't need a flash and can work with the "natural" light situation.

Freedom Square - Kharkiv - The Biggest Parade Ground in Europe

by wil6ka

one comment and 1 voteAlright I will come out with the outstanding trademark of this landmark right now: It is is the largest parade ground in all Europe - big tush - even bigger tush. Well, this said we have to say of course that parade grounds are not so spectacular in most places of the world, but in the former Soviet Union averything militaristic had a certain sex-appeal. And of course the freedom square is adorned with massive Lenin. One icon of the past, who still feels the force of the future. And Lenin reamins the dominant figure of the square, overlooking it and having a daily market in his very back.

2 voteswith f/2.8 + 1/25 - bulb capacity, i was surprised on how versatile + useful a rangefinder, a fed 2 mind you, could be when it comes to capturing dark, important + historical moments such as these concert where from placebo to the relatively unknown kate miller-heidke played with a majestic backdrop of angkor wat.

Wings of a Dove - Analogue Love

one commentLately I followed the invitation of my old friend and musician "Peter":http://www.ghanart.org/donkor/welcome.html to take some pictures of his "CD release concert":http://www.modernghana.com/GhanaHome/photos/event_album.asp?menu_id=32&action=view&album_id=17638 in Frick, Switzerland. Besides my professional digital – Brick I also took an "LC-A+":http://shop.lomography.com/lca+/ and an Actionsampler flash with me – hoping for some nice opportunities to shoot. Finally it ended up being a great weekend – Peter’s house was invaded by 12 other people – including myself. That organised confusion and busyness going on from morning till late night made me forget to take pictures all the time. But maybe it also was the fact that I was totally occupied with four cute kids aged from 2-6 that tried to make me play with them all the time that kept me from documenting everything with my lomos.

Concert Gallery: White Ghost Shivers

one comment and 1 voteA few weeks ago I saw the White Ghost Shivers. I didn't really expect that much to be honest, since this was a concert at the middle of the week and there was not much coverage about the concert. But once they started playing I was blown away. Their music is difficult to describe, this is what they say about themselves:
