Holga in Newport Beach, CA

by greatwhite
posted 10 months ago
2 comments and 1 voteIt amazes me now, in retrospect, that I spent seventeen years of adolescence waiting for the day when I could leave my hometown of Newport Beach, California. Ten years later I recently spent a month back in the place that I was raised and now wonder how I ever took such a place of beauty for granted. Sea, sand, surf and surfers: Newport Beach is truly a place unlike any other.

In the Shop: Street Level Espresso.

by jeffmoore
posted 10 months agoYou’re wandering the streets of lovely Victoria in British Columbia and you need to satisfy your hunger for analog imagery while quenching your thirst for a perfectly crafted espresso. Good thing for you **Ken Gordon** has opened the perfect little spot, aptly titled: **Street Level Espresso**. The walls are adorned with large framed prints from a familiar plastic artillery. With a true eye for taste and a true taste for all things coffee, we knew there was more to the man behind the counter.

Le Fontainas, Brussels

by jelga

one comment and 1 voteWelcome to one of my favorite cafés in Brussels any time of the day: Le Fontainas is for sure one of the best places downtown to sip a coffee in the morning reading the paper, have a simple lunch and a beer at noon or enjoy some cocktails in the evening with friends, all of this while listening to some of the most interesting music selection in Brussels. In winter, you can sit inside and warm up with a hot chocolate. The interior decoration is cozy, with a nice vintage touch and huge photographs on the wall :). I particulary like the recycled chairs and tables, each one in a different shape and color.

Tis the Season for Jacksonville, OR

by strangelilgirl

2 votesJacksonville, Oregon is a historic town found right in the center of Oregon’s wine country. It’s about a 20 minute drive to get there from my apartment in Central Point. It has always been a favorite stop for my Mom and I when looking for something fun to do on a Saturday afternoon, or when we’d have family visiting from far away, anxious to go sight-seeing.

Coffee Bar - Kavos Baras

by puly
posted about 1 year ago
3 votesCoffee Bar is a cafe for everyone who likes high quality coffee. There are some reasons why you should choose this bar: first of all it starts to work from 7 am in the morning, so this is a place where you can find me after the sunrise and before first lecture during winter seasons (and tell me, who doesn't like to take some photos of the sunrise?). Secondly, Coffee Bar bakes its own confectionery. You really need to try éclairs, "cause they're so tasty.

Cappuccino

by golfpunkgirl

3 votesThere is absolutely nothing that can beat an authentic Italian cappuccino. I've always been a big fan of coffee and though many parts of the world are known for their different coffee varieties and beans...the cappuccino has always been a favourite of mine (and incidentally I discovered the cappuccino actually originated from Vienna!). When in Italy, it doesn't matter where you go, be it a fancy 100-year-old cafe or the little corner snack bar with two tables out front, the cappuccinos they serve are always top-knotch. I must've drunk about 42 cups in my 2 week stay and not once did it disappoint.
