L'Armano (Grugliasco)

one comment and 2 votesL'Armano is a big old villa from the 17th century, something like 200 meters away from my apartment in Grugliasco... It's a huge farm, including a 2 storey house and a chapel, surrounded by a big garden.

Exeter College Chapel

1 voteAlthough Oxford is packed full of (probably) lovely college chapels, the best one is definitely Exeter College's (although I am perhaps biased since it's my college and all, but that doesn't matter, it's definitely worth a visit). It might not be St. Peter's or the Sistine Chapel or anything, but one thing it certainly has over them is how quiet it is - it's a hidden gem of Oxford, in a college that most tourists seem (stupidly) to pass by, so you'd be very unlucky to be stuck in the middle of a big tour group.

Christ's Resurrection Church

2 votesChrist's Resurrection Church is a monumental Roman Catholic church in Kaunas, Lithuania which was consecrated three years ago and finally completed in 2005. This church stands atop Kauno Žaliakalnis (English: Kaunas's Green Hill) and has two towers: one is about 70 meters high and another arises from the main altar. Inside of the church there is an elevator which permits access to the church's roof (about 2 euros for one person), but you can take a cheaper way - stairs (less than 1 euro for one person). By the way, inside of cellarage house you can find a parish museum. During community events this church can accommodate more than 5000 people. Best time to access the church's roof is sunset or sundown or when someone is getting married. Of course don't forget to bring presents for the newlyweds!
