  I caught up with a group funfair travelers as they hosted their fair in the small city of Ghent, Belgium. I was fortunate enough to be accepted onto their camping site as a photographer and was granted all the permissions I needed in order to document their way of life. This is an ongoing project.

  Le Gurp is a beach near the village Montalivet in south west France. This part of the French coast is famous for surfing and oysters. The whole area is surrounded by the so called _French badlands_ of only sand an pine tree woods. The Beach itself is fairly shallow but getting deeper about 15 meters into the water; a big wave is the result.

  Located in the Atlantic coast of the Algarve the Amoreira beach is a beautiful place to visit. It belongs to the Aljezur municipality (the word is derived from the Arabic word "Aljuzur" (الجزر), the plural of island) and it's one of the many beaches hidden in the rocky cliffs that characterizes this region.

  If you want to take a break from the smoggy, bustling city, Santa Barbara is where you need to be. It's no Hawaii, but it's a nice and atmospheric change from your usual life. Whatever you want to do, it's in your reach. Whether it be camping, surfing, shopping, wine tasting, or just plain roaming, it's all here. Just don't try to do everything in one day. I tried, its impossible.
