  Richmond CenterStage has been the talk of the town for quite some time. What used to be the Carpenter Center for the Performing arts and the old Thalimer’s Department Store have been renovated and joined to create Central Virginia’s newest performing arts building, holding now four different venues of varying sizes.

  Buddha Eden Garden is located in Bombarral, right in the center region of Portugal, near the Atlantic coast. It used to be Quinta do Lorido (Lorido Farm) a well-know Portuguese wine producers but Comendador José Berardo re-designed it with a new oriental concept in response to the destruction of the Giant Bamyan Buddhas in 2001, sculpted in the rocks of the valley of Bamyan in central Afghanistan and which had for centuries been a cultural and spiritual reference.

  That's right, you thought I couldn't top the World's Largest Ukrainian Garlic Sausage. Well, this is certainly a borderline tacky tourist attraction, but it's WAY more photogenic then that ugly meat ring a few kilometres away in Mundare.

  This 5 Star hotel is one of the most grand hotels in Richmond, and according to their website (www.jeffersonhotel.com) one of the finest in the country. The same architecture firm that designed the New York Public Library designed the building, and the list of patrons who have stayed in the hotel are just as famous. “Presidents, writers, and celebrities (including The Rolling Stones, Dolly Parton, Henry James, and Elvis Presley) have all stayed in the Jefferson.” (www.wikipedia.com)

  I now wish I’d have snapped more and more! Bu my walking around with my eyes facing skyward, I was surprised to notice that many other people imitated my direction of sight and also began to appreciate whats around and above them. A whole new world, a world i just want to share!
