one comment and 2 votesTajín was the most important totonac city, it is located in the state of Veracruz near the town of Papantla (that's in the east of Mexico folks), wicked cool and quite impressive. Tajín also is the name of a popular brand of powdered chili.

4 comments and 1 voteLocated near a city called Chiapa de Corzo, the Sumidero Canyon extends 30 kilometers over the Grijalva River. This geological fault flows into the hydroelectric dam known as Chicoasén. If you stay alert, you might see crocodiles and exotic birds during about two hours of the boat tour.
