Great Sand Dunes National Park

by day3hugger

14 comments and 13 votesGreat Sand Dunes National Park is one of the most amazing places I have ever seen. The initial plan was to camp overnight, but unfortunately it is black bear country. Since I had lots of food in the trunk of my car, I chickened out and decided not to camp. Yet, I did visit the place for just a couple of hours which were more than enough to have an amazing time.

Washington Square Park (New York City)

3 comments, 3 submissions, and 3 votesYou can't miss it: a gigantic arch and a wading fountain in the middle of the Village in New York City, Washington Square Park serves as a neighborhood marker, a campus hub, a revolutionary meeting place, and a cultural touchstone. Obviously not as large as its brethren, Washington Square Park delivers in character and charm for what it lacks in size.

Lomo LCA+ RL: Love at First Roll

by day3hugger
posted 11 months ago
4 comments and 4 votesThe moment I got my LC-A+ RL in my hands I could not wait to start shooting. I had read that the first couple of rolls usually come out a little blurry because you need to get use to focusing the different distances, so I was not expecting anything great with my first roll. However, when I got the roll back from the lab, I realized the LC-A + RL was going to be my best friend forever.

LC-A+ RL

by agrimony
posted about 1 year ago
4 comments and 4 votesThe LC-A+ RL camera is a small picture view-finder camera with an automatic exposure programme. For the operation of this programme the camera requires three button-cells (1,5V) and it is also featured with an electro mechanic shutter and an electronic exposure meter. The difference between the LC-A+ and the LC-A+ RL is that the LC-A+ RL has built in the original lens made in Russia and it is more expensive, in contrast does the LC-A+ have a lens produced in China.

Derelict Building (Boston)

1 voteA friend took me through an abandoned building in downtown Boston. It is located near the TD Bank North Garden and used to house architectural firms, clothing manufacturers, and studio spaces. One room is full of buttons and the views of the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge from the roof are spectacular.
