Long holidays in spring are not that common in Slovenia; what we prefer are daily getaways or daytrips. On the first of May, the international labour day and off-day in Slovenia, half of Slovenia goes to the seaside and the other half to Bled.

On the north shore of Oahu, you can visit seven Polynesian cultures in one day, experience a Luau and take in a big show.

“The splendor of Yosemite burst upon us and it was glorious.” These were the immortal words that Ansel Adams wrote when he first visited Yosemite in 1916.

This summer, I was lucky enough to spend two weeks touring around Bulgaria with three other people in a brand new Chevy! Over the next few articles, I am going to share with you some of my photos from that trip, place by place. The Stone Forest is a natural landmark located in the Varna Province.

Sydney Open 2012 is returning soon! No, this is not a tennis match. This is the time of the year when Sydney opens the doors of the many buildings that are usually ‘off limits’. Visitors will be able to explore award-winning contemporary designs, much-loved heritage buildings and architectural icons.

Let's go visit the Leaning Tower of Malaysia! The Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan is one of the famous landmarks in Perak, and I would like to say that, in the whole of Malaysia as well. It is well known in Malaysia because of its leaning character, which is similar to the world famous Tower of Pisa in Italy. It takes about a 2.5 - 3 hour drive from Selangor.

I have lived about one and a half hours north of Sydney my whole life before moving overseas. We went to the big smoke for school trips, special events, and shopping. Upon returning home and showing my Canadian boyfriend around the city, these were the places I had to show him and would recommend to anyone visiting!

Having lived in Oahu my entire life, it's amazing that I've never visited the iconic Dole Plantation on the North Shore. I always figured there must not be much to see...

The construction of the lomographic guide of Seoul is gaining pace and content. And so I thought I should pull out a merry old location to join the jam. A few years back on my first stay in Seoul, I discovered a green mountain in the middle of a city made of concrete and steel. Mount Iwangsan is a big city delight with a lot of incentives and shamanic ghosts.

I arrived at the ancient city of Pegan in Burma (Myanmar) from Mandalay. My overloaded bus pulled up a dusty unsealed road and stopped outside a ramshackle hotel. It was hard to believe that Pegan was one of the premier tourist sights in South East Asia.

The Eiffel Tower or La Tour Eiffel, is the most prominent landmark and tourist destinations in Paris...it seemed only right to honor it with my Diana Mini and some Ilford black-and-white film.
-
Situated at the highest point in Paris, The Sacre-Couer (or the The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris) is an extremely popular tourist destination in the city and deservedly so. The Sacre-Coeur was a surprising hit destination for me in Paris - although I knew it was popular and had heard and read a lot about it, I underestimated its beauty and the area that surrounded it.

I recently came across the Hong Kong Tourism Board's (HKTB) latest promotional online video and was surprised to see a feature on one of our favourite Diana F+ clones! See the Diana touring around HK after the jump.

This street is known as the place you have to visit to buy typical souvenirs. But that isn't all you can find here. There are plenty of restaurants and traditional teashops where you feel like you're in the past.

Frustrated at not having the means nor the time to travel overseas, I decided to visit touristy places in my own country (Singapore), and discovered a whole new perspective of viewing home.

Story of an old camera. About how to get lucky without knowing, unexpected failures and light leaks...and some meaningless blabbering.

Having foreign colleagues over for a conference proved to be a pleasant experience for webo29 and his cameras. Admittedly, boat tours of the Grand Harbour are a very touristy thing to do, but who’s complaining?
-
With my Diana Mini, Redscale, and with a tourist's attitude, we're going to visit the Giralda in Seville - and climb to its top! I invite you to discover a piece of Sevilla, one of the most beautiful cities in the south of Spain!
-
Potsdam is a German city located near Berlin, famous because of Sanssouci Palace because it was the home of several sovereigns that established their big and luxurious palaces there. I invite you to discover Potsdam palaces, especially its great gardens trough the plastic lens of my Diana F+.

There's a lot to do in Niagara Falls but there's one attraction that was there before all the rest. Don't get caught up in the hype, get down to the water instead! Maid of the Mist is the aptly named boat ride that has been getting to the heart of the falls since 1846.
