Every summer since 2001, the "Night of Industrial Culture" happens as part of the event, "extra shift". Throughout the German Ruhr industrial sites, dumps and former coal mines are turned into major cultural venues and transformed by artists with light installations, live music, and dance performances. This year I loaded my Lubitel 166 + and checked it out.

Since I've (re)discovered analogue photography, I surprise myself more often than not, walking aimlessly through my hometown of Dusseldorf. I don’t think I need to explain how your perception of your surroundings changes through the viewfinder. On one of my last trips a few weeks ago I, in the truest sense of the word, stumbled across one of Düsseldorf's significant treasures, the historic cemetery of Golzheim. With its ancient, weathered monuments and poplar-lined paths and trails, it offers visitors a sight reminiscent of a Hitchcock movie.

Back in 2005, the city of Frankfurt has been presented with a wonderful gift from the Republic of Korea - a real Korean garden! It is a wonderful place to discover among the jungle of skyscrapers known as the Frankfurt Skyline.

A spontaneous trip to the top of Germany. It took us awhile to get there but with enough effort, we were finally able to see the spectacular view from the top. Zugspitze, the highest mountain in the country truly is a worthwhile place to visit whether you're into the outdoors or not.

My Hometown. Here I grew up, ate sand, hurt my knees and so on. It's place nearby Munich, but far enough away to be on the countryside. I'm always coming back to my hometown for visiting my parents. I love it to go for a walk on the fields and watch the clouds and the trees. It's perfect for a sunny but also for a "snowy" day.

Flingern is a small part of the city Düsseldorf in Germany. It's very nice there, small cafés, great shops for gifts or clothing's, and many graffitis.
