9/11 Memorial: a great landmark for the greatest city in the world. As 2011 marks the 10th anniversary of the tragic events that occurred on September 11, 2001, it is important to reflect and remember those closest to us who lost their lives or bravely fought to help and repair our lovely city. The freedom tower is underway yet the memorial ponds have opened to the public for this year's 10th anniversary. When I was finally able to get tickets a month after its grand opening, I took my LC-A along with me.

Durdle Door is one of the most photographed landmarks along the Jurassic Coast. As Jerome K Jerome once said “I take no interest in creeping round dim and chilly churches behind wheezy old men, and reading epitaphs. Not even the sight of a bit of cracked brass let into a stone affords me what I call real happiness.” He did however, admit that for most Brits, a poke around a cemetery was a great way to pass the time. The Tower of London is a wonderful place to visit, it is steeped in history and has its fair share of gore - if you like that sort of thing. The Crown Jewels are kept here and some incredible armour, there are also the Yeoman Warders that guard the tower along with the Ravens.

A Royal Abode. The easiest way to get to Buckingham Palace is to take either the Jubilee or Victoria line and stop at Green Park, from there just take the exit to Buckingham Palace and walk straight into the park (or follow all the tourists with the cameras), as you get out of the park you can't miss it.
