Nine brave chaps took on the mighty mammoth challenge of growing a mo for Movember. We gave them each a Diana Mini and allowed them to take one snap a day to document their mo-growing progress. Here are the stop motion movies of their mighty moustaches....

Movember is well and truly over although we are sure some of you won't be able to resist keeping that incredible mo that has now become a part of who you are, and why you are. Ok maybe over the top… but we did enjoy a good ol’ knees up in celebration of the wonderful month!

We hit the streets of London last Saturday with the Lubitel 166+, and a roll of our very own Lomography B&W 400 film. All of us were on a mission to search for some gentlemen with well groomed moustaches to capture the perfect Mo-trait! We even went crazy with some stick-on-taches for the ladies.

What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than with 10 girls all wearing fake mo’s, shooting the streets of London with LC-A+’s - this is what happened at the Barbershop crawl which all kicked off at the Lomography Gallery Store in Soho London!

Big old knees up and everyone is welcome, particularly those in the mo! This is the perfect time to show off your big, hairy, itchy taches and maybe even win a prize! Drinks and nibbles await!

We’ll start with a basics course on the Lubitel 166+ camera then take to the streets shooting black&white portraits of ourselves and each other, and possibly spotting bros with mos and asking them if they want their portraits taken as well (we’ll have fake ones to give out to the girls). This is the best time to try your hand out at portraiture photography and spread awareness at the same time! Your portraits from the day will then be on display in store from the 24th.

A leisurely Lomowalk from our Soho store to barbershops at Penhaligons, Pall Mall Barbers and Murdock’s in Liberty, all set up specially for Movember, is the agenda for the afternoon. Have a look around, get snapping and possibly get a wet shave as well… it’s all up to you! We’ll wander around scenic Soho and Covent Garden and enjoy a drink in the market area. This is a great chance to raise awareness for this charity and also get to practice shooting on the LC-A+ camera!

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. Here's why i am taking part!
