Join us as we spend Cinco de Mayo at the birthplace of Los Angeles, Olvera Street in El Pueblo de Los Angeles. There will be carnival rides, food, crafts, music and dancing to celebrate the holiday. The workshop fee will include transportation to and from the event.

We will take advantage of LACMA’s “LA County Residents After 5” program to see “Fracture: Daido Moriyama,” a black and white photo exhibition in the Pavilion for Japanese Art. Moriyama was known for his gritty black and white photographs of Japanese urban life. Try out your own black and white photography skills on the grounds of LACMA after we tour the exhibition!
