If you are a big fan of music and photography, and want to make a little tribute to your idols, this is a way to mix this two big loves of your life: Make a music-based film-swap!

My first film swap was a learning experiment. I swapped two rolls of medium format film with a fellow lomographer in Spain. We both used Diana F+ cameras and a Splitzer, and although the results left much to be desired, I can't wait to do my next film swap!

As an art student, I have a big problem, and I think all of the "art people" out there may have the same problem as mine: We have a tendency to be lazy and to wait for the feeling of creativity to come at us first. So, here's my analogue resolution: let's see if I can fix this problem, at least for myself first!

A few months ago, it was the first time I had ever tried and experienced film-swapping. I usually love it when I have more or less control over the shots, even with doubles. However, I was willing to try something new. ‘You never know, you may like it,’ I told myself. And I do not just like it, I LOVE IT.

Whenever any lomographer posted a doubled album, I wondered how it was possible to do that? Shortly after that, I got a proposal from a lomographer to do some doubles with me. Read more about my experience after the break.

The Pop 9 is a great little camera which produces 9 identical images on one 35mm frame, and, as Lomography says, instantaneously transforms the environment around you into explosions of pattern-repeating pop-art! But what happens if you would like to experiment with it a bit more to give you different results? Keep reading this tipster for a lens modification, giving you twice the fun!

Two pinholers swap film to create a series of double exposures from Seattle and Nashville in the U.S. See the photos and learn more about the story after the break.

Apart from rediscovering analogue photography through Lomography, last year, I've also relived the same emotion that you feel as you get your developed film in the lab, when I arrived home and find a postcard from any place in the world in my mailbox (not only bills).

Great results of the nationalwide film swap organized by the Lomography Embassy Chile. Despite the Chilean winter, the enthusiasm for this double experience was unbroken.

Autumn is not a sad season. Lomography Gallery Store Hong Kong has prepared a bunch of events in the coming September and October. A film swap project by Lomographer in Hong Kong and Malaysia will be exhibited in the store. Yes, please expect the unexpected!

For this edition of 'Doubles with You', azurblue and kylewis did a medium-format hook-up and did some crazy experiments with the Diana F+ and the Holga!
