I have been a busy bee this past week. I'm in the middle of a collaboration with my boyfriend -- our first collaboration ever -- which I will hopefully feature here next week, and I've been looking for fresh photo ideas here on Lomography and also on Flickr.

If you want to take that well-deserved break and actually spend it relaxing and enjoying in the sun, you better play safe and head southwards. Only a 3-hour flight from Brussels, the beautiful Turkish coast is the perfect choice for a spring break getaway!

The massive and powerful waves of the Pacific and the jagged rocks at the bottom of the California coast constantly meet with such intensity and force.

There are films and cameras that are simply and clearly made for each other and the photographs they produce together are just pure poetry.

Up on the Pacific Coast Highway, where the wild sea meets the peaceful cliffs, is the El Matador Beach, one proof that Los Angeles is far from the obnoxious city it has come to be known as.

I had this week’s article written and ready for publishing two weeks before my deadline but a lot has happened since then so I decided to write an entirely different article, one that would be more fitting. I also dusted off my trusty Mamiya C330 so I could capture the sense of this piece on film.

For Australia Day in 2012, we had a big celebration in a local park – lots of food, drinks, esky’s, sea baths, flags, sun-baking, rain-dancing, music, laughter, and most importantly cricket -- and this year we intend on doing it all over again!

As autumn creeps in, the cool temperatures keep us wishing for the bright and sunny summer days. Reminisce about the warm weather through these summery photos after the jump.

The northwest corner of Europe, Cape Wrath in Scotland. In medieval times, this was the untamed and inhospitable boundary of man's knowledge of Earth. The Edge of The World. Today, it is one of the most beautiful places on the planet...on a good day.

After three days of scenic driving up the west coast, a little more than 1/2 way from San Francisco to Seattle, we woke up in the quaint little city of Florence, OR. We knew that if we got up early and made the 20-minute drive to Sea Lion Caves first thing, we'd get there before the hordes of tourists descended. What we didn't realize was that we'd also arrive before the fog lifted...

Heysham is a village just outside Lancaster that overlooks Morecambe Bay. The village is probably most famous for its port and nuclear power plants; however once you look past those, the village also has amazing history and heritage as well as gorgeous coastlines.

Carmel-by-the-Sea was named Carmel by a Carmelite friar named Sebastian Vizcaino after his patron saint, Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Being a Carmen and knowing my name is originally a diminutive form of Carmel, which was made into a name as an homage to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, I had to visit Carmel-by-the-Sea of course. (Try saying all of that two times fast...) However, you do not need to be named Carmen to enjoy Carmel-by-the-Sea!
