  When I adopted Lomography as a hobby, my husband has encouraged me to experiment by giving me unique photography related gifts for all of the various holidays we celebrate like Christmas, Birthday Month, Cats Birthdays, National Waffle Day, etc. For Christmas 2007, when the presents were placed under the tree, I noticed a small box that wasn’t colorfully wrapped in reindeer or snowman paper. It was humbly covered in plain brown paper with many Russian stamps and an address label decorating the top of the box. The package was sent from Kolomna, Russia and was addressed to me. I thought, “Wow! What could this be?”
