When my daily routine starts to become a burden, I try to get out of the city for the weekend to recharge my batteries and relax. Let me share with you guys a great spot to do this which is also very close to Barcelona.

Do you remember "The Gold Rush" of Charlie Chaplin, and the scenes with the gold searchers that climb on the mountains covered by snow? Well, the Monte Rosa is the location that I propose you can visit in honor of this great artist!

Cape Town is my favorite place in the whole world – if only I had one day to explore the city, this is what I would do..

My husband and I took a break during the weekend and paid a visit to Gunung Lang equipped with a Lomo LC-Wide and a BeLOMO Elikon 535. Once in, we were greeted with a magnificent lake enclosed by majestic limestone outcrops surmounted by lush greenery. Across the lake lies a landscaped park that is only accessible by boat. Fortunately, a jetty provides ferry services through water taxis for visitors like us to reach the park.

US has Coachella, UK has Glastonbury, and the Philippines has the Malasimbo Music & Arts Festival! Three days of frivolous fun with friends on a mountain by the beach? Pretty much my perfect island party. Highly recommended! Read on to see my film photos from the fest.

To me, the ocean is synonymous with traveling.

Suraksan Mountain (수락산) rising 637meters above Seoul, is the third of Seoul’s three big mountains and a perfect location for hiking, mountain climbing, and bouldering. Add the element of winter – snow and ice – to this equation and you have the perfect combination for a mountain winter wonderland and a thrilling day outside.

Want to be hardcore? Want to test your endurance? Then why not climb a 1,157.2 m (3,797 ft) mountain in the middle of the snowy winter cold. And why not get lost in the mountain while you are at it, hiking through the fresh snow only to end up at a Buddhist temple where monks proceed to give you chocolate and drive you off the mountain. Yup, my hike on Yongmunsan Mountain (용문산) just 45km out of Seoul, definitely gave us an exciting day trip away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

A climb a day keeps the doctor at bay - this mountain is run up by some people every morning before they go to work as it offers you views, scenery, and a vast amount of fresh air. I did this walk for the first time and need not ask why they chose this hike over a gym any day. It is truly spectacular!

Up the winding roads and around the beautiful bays lie Chapmans Peak. Pack a bottle of wine, some snacks, and a couple of cameras. Stop often as there is a photo opportunity around every bend.
-
Breathtaking hilltop scenery that almost got us “killed” due to physical exhaustion.

Taking photographs of breath-taking landscapes and sceneries is something that all photographers and Lomographers busy themselves with from time to time. A Japanese photographer took this to the extreme by photographing the world's tallest peaks, among them Mt. Everest.

If you're going to be in Japan this month, you might want to check out the solo exhibition of esteemed photographer Naoki Ishikawa. Read about the details after the jump.

A beautiful stretch of coastline that lies at the tip of a crescent bay overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Back in August, my friends and I decided to take a much needed beach vacation in the eastern part of Taiwan. Like all dramatic holiday stories, Super Typhoon Nanmadol hit our island the day before we were set for the beach.

With such happiness and joy coming from our Christmas Flash Rumbles, you just have to let it all out and tell it to the mountain!

In the northern reaches of Seoul, Bukhansan National Park - 북한산국립공원- spreads its rocky wings over 78.45 km and 6 districts of Seoul. I spent a day hiking to the highest peak Baegundae -백운대, which at 837m gives you the most spectacular view of Seoul below.
-
Traveled to the Himalayas in Tibet with 6 cameras this summer, seeking enlightenment and great lomography. But the pictures I love most are not the ones I took but the ones I gave.
-
This amazing temple above Chiang Mai, Thailand, has the triple advantage to offer you a great motorbike or bike ride to go and witness an amazing view of the entire region, and a beautiful, golden Buddhist temple!

Durdle Door is one of the most photographed landmarks along the Jurassic Coast. This rock arch in the sea was formed as a result of the softer rocks being eroded away behind the hard limestones, allowing the sea to punch through them. The name Durdle is derived from an old English word 'thirl' meaning bore or drill.
