Fujifilm Astia is an ISO 100 slide film and has been discontinued. It is a fined grained and low contrast slide film often used for studio or portrait applications. This film usually gives a reddish/purplish color shift when cross processed. Norfolk may be famous for 'keeping it in the family' and this case is no different. Analogue photography has been a passion for three generations. For me, living in a digital world gave me no time to learn how to use analogue cameras, or so i thought. One box of hidden slides, an Olympus OM10 and a curious mind later and I have a new love for all things analogue. I'm still new to the Lomo world and still trying out different kinds of films and their effects on the photographed image. My first two or three rolls were shot with Kodak Elitechrome, which was a safe option and produced beautiful results. After that, I was ready for stronger color shifts and more surprising outcomes. Which is where the dm Paradies color postive 100 iso comes into play. I fell in love the moment I saw the first printed results!

Recently I fount a box of slides, lost since 1979, of how to make a Baklava, for a class in Public Speaking, taken for college credit. The camera and lens they were taken with were remarkable, a Canon VT with a 5cm Zunow f/1.1 lens! The camera and lens are lost. I loaned them to someone who moved away.
