So many photos of our friends, family, pets - we're pretty much their paparazzi. So, sometimes when we catch a glimpse of ourselves in the mirror we think "wait a minute", what about me? Self-portraits are a meditative art and gateway to self-reflection. And though it's less 'personal' nowadays, as it's so commonplace and simple, it's interesting to see how passion, equivalent to Rembrandt, for self-portraiture is still alive with film-photography.

We can't deny that the "self-portrait" has been gaining popularity recently. The position of photographer and the subject are blended together. I love to see pictures taken with long exposure mode that give outcomes like light painting, light trail, star trail and etc. So I came up with an idea: what if I combine the long exposure technique with multi-coloured flash? I have lot of self-portraits. Most of them are unpublished, hidden in my computer and hard-disks because after negatives are developed, I start looking at these self-portraits, thinking that they are not so good.
