HOLGA 135 BC is my first LOMO camera. Every now and then, I will bring him out for some sun tanning and he never fails to surprise me! I always look forward to the moment whenever I am sending the films for development.

Before I became a lomographer, I knew nothing about film and analogue photography, until I joined this community 8 months ago. I did some research before I bought my first Lomography camera. I was looking for a camera which is reasonably cheap and is capable of producing good photos, and that is how I met my dearest Holga 135 BC.

It's a semi accidental purchase, but now obviously one of my favourites. I try to drag her along as much as possible. Also, if you have a limited budget but still want to buy a new analog camera, then you should definitely consider this Holga.

A little beauty that packs a lot of the punch of an LC-A+, but costs less, and adds a little softness like her older brother, Holga CFN. Read on, children. You should probably have this camera.

Adore dreamy, mysterious photos? Holga 135 BC will be your best choice. It has a mask which creates extra thick vignette to your photos (BC stands for Black Corner). It uses 35mm films, which are cheaper than 120 films.

Including the lens, the whole Holga 135BC camera is made of plastic and looks cute. At that time, I bought it as my first Lomographic camera right after researching it!

Vignette lovers unite! It's made of 100% plastic (body and lens), it supports 35 mm film, it's compact and produces the most drastic vignettes in the LomoWorld! This camera can be your love at first sight if old-school lomo look is what you're going for.

The Holga 135 BC may be the little sister of the original, legendary Holga, but it ain't less of a camera. It's simple, its light weight, it's small and it got all the great features of its bigger brother - including the fantastic effects of the plastic lens and dark corners (vignette). Plus it use regular 135-film which is cheap, easy to get, to use, and any one hour lab can develop it! But most of all, the Holga 135BC is FUN, FUN, FUN!
-
Wowee, what a camera! The Holga 135BC pretty much does all the work for you! Just point and shoot and you will have a work of art!

I was amazed and surprised by what Fuji Provia 100F has done to me upon my first try with it. You got to experience it yourselves!

All of us here knows how much we love films of different types, sizes, formats, etc. and we still use them mainly for the reason of getting those surreal and punchy saturation we want to see in our shots. This week, our Tipster not only gets the usual results you can have from shooting in film, it also took her to the past!
