The Sand Between My Toes

Being an archipelago, the Philippines is sprawling with beaches. Though each one is not the same and offers you a different experience. I’ve been to several coasts and was able to enjoy a different flavor from each visit.

Getting Stoked in San Juan La Union

The hot sun and sand, the cool water and awesome consistent waves of San Juan, La Union is my favorite destination in the whole of Luzon! Even if it is 5 hours away from my home in Manila, Philippines, I would gladly leave at 1AM to catch waves early in the morning and then leave after dinner to get enough sleep before work the next day! (OK, so I’ll probably have someone else drive)

Urbiztondo, San Juan, La Union

Urbiztondo is a great surfing spot for beginners and hardcore surfers alike! It is located in San Juan, La Union, a 5 hour drive from Manila, Philippines. The beach is great, the waves are awesome and most importantly, the locals are nice! It is also a great spot to document with your lomo cameras!
