A month ago, two college seniors of mine got married in Bali. I was lucky enough to be invited to their wedding and I was really excited to capture their special day on film. For me, this was the first time I had attended a wedding since I started shooting with film and I had no idea what to expect.

I broke my arm. I fell in my living room on a Sunday morning. The culprit? Slippery socks on hardwood. The break isn’t too bad, and thankfully it’s my left arm and not my right. But broken bones or not, life goes on, and the work continues, albeit with some necessary modifications.

Along the lines of 'our love will be forever', couples are attaching their locks to the Hohenzollern Bridge in Cologne, Germany. The Hohenzollernbrücke (Hohenzollern bridge) is right past the Cologne train station and the Cathedral (Kölner Dom) and became a place of pilgrimage for lovers.

One of the more interesting additions this year was the Smash Shack, a large tent where you could pay money to smash glass plates and dishes against a wall. From what I saw and heard, it seems quite therapeutic.
