Mid Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Chinese calendar. This is usually either in September or early October. Mid Autumn Festival is a popular festival celebrated by Chinese. It is also known as Mooncake Festival or Zhongqiujie (中秋节).
