Fresh from My Darkroom: The Secular Fair in Alzate Brianza
Every year in the beginning of September, a small Italian town situated a few miles from my city of Como hosts an ancient fair dedicated to the Virgin Mary: the Fair of Our Lady of Rogoredo. This series of images fresh from my darkroom was taken using a roll of HP5+ film loaded inside my wonderful Horizon Perfekt.

Using a 20mm lens to take pictures from the top
While waiting for the new Lomography gem, the wonderful Russar+ lens, I took some photos at a fun fair with my wonderful Mir 20/3.5 super wide angle lens from the big panoramic wheel. Here I'll tell you some tips about the use of this kind of lens. Read more after the jump!
  • At the Funfair with my Horizon Perfekt

At the Funfair with my Horizon Perfekt
Every year my city Como hosts, for the Easter period, a great fun fair. This is a great occasion to test a camera, to make experiments with films, to have fun and to photograph people while also having fun! This year, I used my gem, the wonderful Horizon Perfekt (that I bought from the Lomography Online Shop) loaded with a timeless film, a Kodak Tri-X 400 developed, as usually for b/w, by myself. • Sydney's Luna Park and Circular Quay

Sydney's Luna Park and Circular Quay
Circular Quay is the hub of Sydney Harbour, situated in a small inlet called Sydney Cove, the founding site for Sydney and Australia. It is a stepping-off point for most attractions based around the harbour and an exciting place to be on a warm summer's day. Luna Park is just a short ferry ride across the Harbour from Circular Quay and is a fun place with a dark history.
  • You Spin My Head Right Round: My Travels in 360

You Spin My Head Right Round: My Travels in 360
So far, my Spinner rolls always seem to be shot at times when I really want to fully document the place I am at, as I may not be able to go back there again. There is something about being in the photograph yourself, surrounded by what is going on around you that calls for this camera to be what I think of as more of a documentary device than other cameras. There are many things I love about this camera, but one big one that I do not. Read about it after the jump!
