I bet many of you might not even know you have a piece of Hiroshi Sugimoto's work in your room. U2's "No Line on the Horizon" album artwork is a photograph by Sugimoto, and is part of his Seascapes series. After the jump, let's properly get acquainted with this conceptual artist.

Asian Photography Masters: Yasuhiro Ishimoto

Yasuhiro Ishimoto (石元泰博) was a Japanese-American photographer and began his path behind the camera under depressing circumstances. His early studies in Architecture influenced his works, as did existentialism. After the jump, we'll reveal more about this influential master.

Asian Photography Masters: Ihei Kimura, Japan

Ihei Kimura was a celebrated 20th Century Japanese Realism photographer. The objects in his pictures were commonalities found in his surroundings. Those new to photography often start with things nearby. It helps us practice getting along with our camera. Gradually, we then turn to something more special. But why don't we ever consider going back to basics? Ordinary scenes may look extraordinary through your camera! Not sure how it works?
