I was so lucky to have gotten this famous branded Germany rangefinder camera in a boots market with a highly affordable price while I was travelling in the Canterbury. It brings excellent definition, high brilliance and maximum resolution of images during the whole trip in Switzerland. I am so delighted and in love with this boy!

Where are my preferred places for water fun, and for basking at the beach? Easy answer: the wonderful lakes of Switzerland! All these photos were taken with my inseparable Lomo LC-A camera! Read more!

My most memorable escapade in the past year was my bicycle touring across Switzerland with my trusty Lomo LC-A and my great Cannondale mountain bike! Enjoy!

Basel is located at the northwest of Switzerland, bordering France and Germany. The magnificent Rhine River flows through the city of Basel. The German Black Forest is only a short distance away across the river.

The Swiss Foundation for Photography (Fotostiftung Schweiz) is marking its fortieth
anniversary by presenting a fresh take on Swiss photography. The jubilee exhibition focuses on a
selection of photobooks that have influenced photography in Switzerland since the late 1920s.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word, "Switzerland"? Chocolate? Mountains? Farmers chilling outside? Do you know why I love clichés so much? Because they're so true.
-
Fotostiftung Schweiz is currently hosting an exhibition of photographs by Hans Steiner.
The exhibition, “Alles Wird Besser” (Things are Getting Better), mainly focuses on scenes of everyday life in Switzerland during the post-war era.

At the town of Schaffhausen, the Rhine reaches a width of 200 meters and has a summer flow of over 1,000 cubic meters per second. Then it faces a sudden drop of over 20 meters. This is known as the Rhine Falls (Rheinfalls), the largest in Europe.
-
Get ready for a big splash as I introduce you to the biggest waterfall in Europe - Switzerland's Rhine Falls! You better schedule a trip now though and enjoy it while it lasts, as sadly, this beautiful waterfall won't be here forever.

If you want to feel the wind on your face and feel the relaxing mist of the sea, go to Switzerland and have a look see at Lake Geneva. Cruising on the lake is a very nice way to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Lake Leman which is one of the biggest lakes in Europe.

Luckily, I could save three rolls of this amazing film from being thrown away by my mum.

The district of Sauvabelin in the City of Lausanne is a popular local recreation area but it is not very well known among tourists. With its forest, viewing platform and artificial lake it is the perfect place to hang out if the weather is kind and definitely a place you shouldn't miss when discovering Lausanne.
-
In the alps - if you want to get from one valley to another - you have to drive through a tunnel. But if you want to have some nice and lovely pics on your rolls after crossing the mountains, enjoy a ride over a pass - for example the Flüelapass in Davos.

An almost forgotten area in the Grisons in Switzerland: The Schatzalp in Davos. Once a well known ski area, then closed for years and the only highlight: the historic hotel. But I have explored this spot for me again.

Zürich is the largest and richest city in Switzerland. It is the main cultural and economy center in the whole country. And it's a place where you can take some photos enjoying the sights and prime quality chocolate.

For years I’ve been planning on visiting my friend in Konstanz for a sailing trip on Lake Constance (Bodensee). In August 2008 we both finally found the time to realize those plans. I took the train from Frankfurt to Konstanz, arriving on late Friday afternoon. But before we entered the boat on Saturday my friend showed me what Konstanz had to offer culturally.

Lately I followed the invitation of my old friend and musician "Peter":http://www.ghanart.org/donkor/welcome.html to take some pictures of his "CD release concert":http://www.modernghana.com/GhanaHome/photos/event_album.asp?menu_id=32&action=view&album_id=17638 in Frick, Switzerland. Besides my professional digital – Brick I also took an "LC-A+":http://shop.lomography.com/lca+/ and an Actionsampler flash with me – hoping for some nice opportunities to shoot. Finally it ended up being a great weekend – Peter’s house was invaded by 12 other people – including myself. That organised confusion and busyness going on from morning till late night made me forget to take pictures all the time. But maybe it also was the fact that I was totally occupied with four cute kids aged from 2-6 that tried to make me play with them all the time that kept me from documenting everything with my lomos.
