Sea Life Sydney Aquarium is a popular attraction in Sydney. It is a great way to get to know the watery world of Australia.

Before moving overseas, I always lived in the same post code -- we never moved far from the first house I lived in which was my Nana's house in the suburb of Tumbi Umbi in the Australian state of New South Wales. This nostalgic location looks at those images that to other people, may just look like a tree or a door, but to the person with the connection to them mean so much more.

For Australia Day in 2012, we had a big celebration in a local park – lots of food, drinks, esky’s, sea baths, flags, sun-baking, rain-dancing, music, laughter, and most importantly cricket -- and this year we intend on doing it all over again!

For me, a girl living in Belgium, Australia is really the other side of the world. So when a friend of mine suggested to go visit her in New Zealand and travel together to Australia, I was over the moon.

Looking back on this year I know I will not remember it by the month, rather by the place that I was. I was extremely lucky this year to start the year where I come from in Australia, finish it in London, Canada where I now call home and visit a bunch of places in between.

The Sydney to Los Angeles flight is one of the longest flights in the world, and as I am a native of Sydney but I live in Canada, I have done this flight more times that I would have liked to. Luckily, I have captured some images with some simple plastic cameras that you can use them during take-off and landing!

Summer is coming to an end, and autumn is just around the corner. It is time for autumn lovers to get out of their houses and take some pictures of autumn scenes, especially the beautiful, autumn leaves.

Anybody who has walked through George Street in Sydney Australia will definitely know what Sol Levy is. For those of you who are fans of tobacco, read on after the jump!

If you ask me, the best thing about summer are little getaways. My boyfriend and I drove with two friends to Cape Breton from Halifax, in the Canadian provence of Nova Scotia and stayed at our friend's family cabin. See the beauty I found and how I coped with being out of the city in this article!

I have lived about one and a half hours north of Sydney my whole life before moving overseas. We went to the big smoke for school trips, special events, and shopping. Upon returning home and showing my Canadian boyfriend around the city, these were the places I had to show him and would recommend to anyone visiting!

The 6th annual Sydney Underground Film Festival is going to take place on the 6th until the 9th of September 2012. Be at this film festival if you want to be the witness of quality independent films that are challenging the conservative conventions of film making.

So far, my Spinner rolls always seem to be shot at times when I really want to fully document the place I am at, as I may not be able to go back there again. There is something about being in the photograph yourself, surrounded by what is going on around you that calls for this camera to be what I think of as more of a documentary device than other cameras. There are many things I love about this camera, but one big one that I do not. Read about it after the jump!

After shooting almost an entire roll of film on a La Sardina in Sydney, Australia in 2011, I took the same camera overseas to the US five months later where it turns out I accidentally exposed the same roll again. The results urged me to take advantage of multiple-exposure techniques that I often previously forgot about.

How about this for a romantic spring afternoon, pack your lunch, and head out to Somersby Falls on the New South Wales Central Coast. You and your loved one will feel like you're away from it all and can enjoy the picnic areas, bush walking trails, and enjoy the rain forest sounds with the bell birds and kookaburras.

The beachside town of Terrigal is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. A romantic stroll along the beach eating ice cream, run up the Skillion to see the views from the top or taking a date to one of the many restaurants or bars in the area are just some of the many romantic things you could do in this little part of the world. Just don't try to drive into Terrigal on a sunny Saturday morning or you'll be gridlocked!

Friend and coffee blogger Winne Yeung went analogue for her latest coffee shop escapade in Sydney. More than just a coffee shop, Park Bench serves exotic flavoured gelato such as balsamic and taro and has an eclectic, yet earthy, design.

I know I've kind of missed the boat on posts wrapping up the year that has past in photos or memories but I still wanted to have the opportunity to go through and pick some of my faves that you may or may not have seen over the past year from my Lomography film cameras. When I saw the requested post tagline of Most Memorable Travel Escapades in 2011, I thought that it all fit in nicely together too.
