After spending 17 hours and traversing one quarter around the globe, I finally set foot on Egypt's Cairo. This is my first trip to Africa so I wasted no time in documenting my trip through analogue photographs - especially the pyramids, definitely one of the highlights of my trip.

Memphis... extended for 15 kilometers from Giza to Saqqara. One of the oldest cities on Earth. Legendary Memphis was the capital of the ancient Egypt throughout the old kingdom.

The Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders Of the Ancient World. It was a breathtaking experience as we marveled there. The feeling of standing in front of a giant staircase like Pyramid, the size of each stone there is about the size of an unit standard shop lot that we see in shopping complex nowadays.

For the cultural days (Sunday, June 15th – Tuesday, June 17th, 2008) at the German Evangelic Secondary School of Cairo, Helga Sursock (curator and Lomography Ambassador of Cairo), Kathrin Klaus (teacher of elementary class 1B) and twenty five of their closest seven-year-olds are initiating this year’s big Cairo-LomoWall project.
