In September I was lucky enough to visit the gorgeous amphitheater in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. What made this day even better was that there was a huge orchestra and singers practicing for a show taking place there later that evening!

Legendary songs and albums are not only the product of great minds - they are also influenced by the environment in which they are recorded. The recording studio Sound City has been the origin for a lot of classics in popular music. Many artists like Nirvana, Trent Reznor, Guns N' Roses and Tom Petty have recorded some of their most iconic work there. Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has directed a documentary about Sound City that is set to be released soon.

LomoAmigo Stephan Kaps aka mephisto19 shows photographs, sound and text work at Kaffeebar Rossi in Hannover, Germany. The opening is on January 22nd and the exhibition will take place till 24th of March 2012. Title of the exhibition is "Überlagerte Zeit", meaning eclipsed or overlapping time. Here you will see some High Quantity Multiple Exposures (HQME), texts about time and some sound works made out of several layers.
