For their first task, the US CitySlickers will show us around their towns and cities, documenting their experiences in analogue and telling us stories along the way. Let's meet Kate and learn about Dallas!

Dallas is big in many ways. You have big heart, big buildings, and big fun! Lomography is coming to visit for an evening. We'll be at Pioneer Plaza, the home of more steer sculptures than anywhere else in the world! An evening of film, flashes, and fun!

Deep in Dallas Texas is a place of wonder, of magic, of art, of food, of music, of life. We call these places Deep Ellum and The West End.

When you visit Texas, in particular Dallas, this is one of those iconic places to see. Pioneer Plaza is the home of 40 bronze statues depicting a cattle drive from the 1800s. It was designed by a native Texan, Robert Summers and each sculpture has such detail that the only way to see it is go ahead and jump on them! Just Kidding :D

Each year, the State Fair of Texas is open for about one month during the fall. Every student enrolled in the Dallas Independent School District (DISD) and other local school districts are given a free ticket to go, so this event is very family friendly.
