This is a review of the camera used for week 3 of the "30 Weeks, 30 Cams" series. The camera a, Revueflex-B, is nothing but a Zenit-B sold by a German department store chain under another name. Read on how I got this SLR camera produced in Russia and how it handles.

A Vimeo user has ingeniously created a short, featuring shots from a variety of Wes Anderson films. What's so compelling about this? They are all 'shots from above', from a bird's-eye view, and are super-short in duration. Most feature hands, or paws, flipping pages, or picking up things. The vibrant colors, and piano accompaniment add to this beautiful homage.

My most memorable travel escapade in 2011 was a one-week hike through the Alps. I grew up in the south of Germany and my parents always took me to the Alps. They love to walk and I didn't. Now I live far away from from those huge mountains, in a medium-sized city. I actually started to miss them.

One of the most spectacularly located restaurants in the entire world. It was our last few hours in Paris, and we were desperate to dine somewhere around the Louvre. But it had to be a place which served Pomerol wine, there were no doubts about that. I didn't know why, but my partners did insist on that.

Hunting in NYC is very inspiring. During one week, we went on a hunt for clothes, shoes, bags, good bakeries, wool, books, new interesting trends...we couldn't leave Manhattan without having seen a view, then, we went on the top of the Rockefeller Center because it is where you can have the best view of the Empire State, Central Park and all the different boroughs of NYC. The day was sunny, there was snow everywhere, and the light was delightful.

In Banff and looking for something do to? Get the heck away from that tacky souvenir shop and find your way to the Banff Gondola. Get on to Mountain Avenue and follow the Gondola/Hot Springs signs. Soon enough you'll be elevated 698m to the summit (2281m above sea level), and the view will take your breath away (the thin air also helps with that).

The Niagara SkyWheel rises above it all. Oh man, that's the cheesiest intro I've written yet. But seriously, the SkyWheel rises above the cheese that is Clifton Hill. Hop in a climate-controlled passenger cabin and get a bird's eye view of the magnificent falls.

The Great Mosque of Constanta is one of the most important monuments in my hometown. It impresses not only through its unique architecture, but also through the magnificent view of the Constanta Port and city which can be admired from the Mosque’s tower.

The second most famous bridge in London is definitely the beautiful, Millennium Bridge, also nicknamed as the "Wobbly Bridge".

Formerly a medieval vigil tower built in the 13th century, it was turned into a belfry tower of the Church of San Nicolò all'Albergheria in the 16th century. It stands in the district of Albergheria and is surrounded by the open air market of Ballarò. It is now a very nice place to enjoy a beautiful view of the city of Palermo.

Planning to spend some time in Dortmund ? The former "Steel City" is now a good place for shopping and culture. Dortmund has a lot to offer...much more than a hot cup of Starbucks coffee.

This is for all of you Lomographers who are looking for a place with a spectacular view over one of my favourite cities which is Cologne. Most of the tourists who visit Cologne walk along the Rhine River, take a couple of pictures of the wonderful cathedral (the "Dom") and have a few "kölsch"-beers.

After the magical time that we spent in Fjordland, it was time to go back on the road in reach of our next destination: Wanaka! Although before Wanaka, we first went to Queenstown where we got really disappointed.

Mt. Eden Park in Auckland is made from an impressive former volcano crater and offers a great view over the whole area. It's perfectly safe to visit as it's already a dormant volcano - you can either enjoy a nice walk uphill or take a car if you're being lazy but once you get to the top, you'll quickly realize that all the effort is well worth it.

One of the main attractions in Auckland (New Zealand's biggest city) is the Sky Tower. The Sky Tower allows you to have amazing panoramic views over the whole city and is as well a great photographic subject to shoot from outside.

the 18th floor of the Hyatt Regency Calgary has two things that I found appealing. A pool, and a great view of downtown Calgary.

The Old Town Hall Tower in Prague holds one of the the oldest and most elaborate clocks ever built – the Astronomical Clock or Orloj, which you have probably heard of, as it is one of the city's most popular tourist attractions. I know the clock is amazing... but have you ever noticed the tower?
Yes, today I’m not going to talk about the clock but rather the tower that hosts it and what you can do in there.
