Last year, my friend Chris came to my home and brought a small compact camera that he borrowed from his older brother. It was a Fuji Zoom Date. I don't know what type it is but it is similar, but not the same with the camera that I will review now. Please say hello to Fuji Silvi 1000 LS!

I bought a filter set with lots of different colors a time ago. Mainly for a flash and the gray for a neutral density filter. But now I use a couple of different colors to hold in front of the lens.

So I called this Faux-MX because the double-layer synonymous with MX is what you think of when laying eyes upon the resulting image. Though the image in question isn't born within an analogue camera's womb, I was inspired by the unconventional union of two analogue-terrific images!

Fritz, as I call him, is my ever dependable light companion. Wherever I go, I always make sure I bring one flash with me, so I wont feel bad that it took me until night time to shoot, or whenever the subjects I want to take be inside a dim- lighted room. Like the famous tagline of a deodorant, I'm sure Fritz wont let err light you down!

Born in 2008, in place of an old fabric factory (and many other things along the years), Lx Factory just breathes creativity. In this small place there are restaurants, little shops, nice coffee houses, model agencies, dancing and acting studios and so much more! It even has the best place in Lisbon to develop film especially if you have a Lomo camera...and art is everywhere!

Rumor says that he even had a box of different-colored yarn he played with and literally weaved them together to see how the color combinations would look when put into paint. But another rumor is going around saying that van Gogh was color blind. Check out the gossip after the jump!

Cities can be very gray and sad sometimes, so I appreciate every effort made to color them and make them nicer for its inhabitants. That's why I've always liked the colored tiles in Infante Santo's Viaduct.

Kirstenbosch - the biggest open-air botanical garden of all. I fell in love with this garden when I first came here back in 2004. So, when I arrived to Cape Town this year, I immediately wanted to go back. Although a few obstacles (in the shape of a vineyard visit and so on) almost prevented me from doing that, there I was, still back at Kirstenbosch!
