At these times, travelers head off to Boracay or Palawan, two of the most popular beach destinations in the Philippines.

Summer season means time for a beach escape. But for this year, it seemed like this was the busiest year, work-wise. So my friends and I forgot to make reservations, even worst, we forgot to talk or plan anything for the summer. This didn't stop us from going though.

On Saturday May 12th, the Lomography Gallery Store Gramercy in NYC lead a walking tour to the lovely Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Last Saturday was the perfect day to escape the humdrum drag of the city and get back in touch with nature. It was warm and bright out all day, a welcome break from the notoriously gloomy weather we’ve been experiencing in NYC the past few weeks.
