• Selmun - Perfect for that Lazy Sunday Afternoon Walk

  
  Sundays in Malta, especially in winter (when hitting the beach is not an option), can turn out to be quite a bit of a drag. You can’t shop 'til you drop or head to the amusement park (cause there isn’t one) so what I suggest you do is grab your dog and your camera and head out for a walk in the countryside. There are various interesting rural areas to choose from, but today I’m going to focus on one in particular on the northern part of the island: Selmun.

  It sounds like a fairy tales, but it’s not. What is a Daraa? A daraa is a Koranic school in Sénégal. The teacher is a Marabout, a man who knows the Koran. He teaches is pupils, named talibe.
