Snapshots of a life I would have happily lived forever. Memories of a friendship celebrated by adventure and discovery. Capturing moments of Mongolia in black and white.

Heysham is a village just outside Lancaster that overlooks Morecambe Bay. The village is probably most famous for its port and nuclear power plants; however once you look past those, the village also has amazing history and heritage as well as gorgeous coastlines.

Meanwood Valley Urban Farm is exactly what it says it is, a small farm located in the urban area of Meanwood in the city of Leeds. With animals, food, and plants, it's a great family day out!

I absolutely love living in Leeds and one of my favorite buildings in the city is Leeds Town Hall and I particularly enjoy exploring the area around the Town Hall as well. The Town Hall itself was built between 1853 and 1858 on Park Lane, which is now the Headrow towards the top end of the city. It is one of the biggest - and tallest town halls in England and was designed by Cuthbert Brodrick.

Outside of London, York is one of the most visited cities in England. Rich in historic attractions including York Minister, the castle, and of course, the walls that enclose the city.

Paris is easily one of my favorite places to visit and as well as having amazing landmarks and attractions, there is also so much to see just by walking around the streets and taking everything in.
-
The Eiffel Tower or La Tour Eiffel, is the most prominent landmark and tourist destinations in Paris...it seemed only right to honor it with my Diana Mini and some Ilford black-and-white film.

Situated at the highest point in Paris, The Sacre-Couer (or the The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris) is an extremely popular tourist destination in the city and deservedly so. The Sacre-Coeur was a surprising hit destination for me in Paris - although I knew it was popular and had heard and read a lot about it, I underestimated its beauty and the area that surrounded it.

I've been longing to process my film rolls on my own so I tried developing my color negative film in black & white developing chemicals, namely Ilford XP2. I was so surprised with the results and I love it! Read more to see the step-by-step of self-developing.

Having never tried a black and white film before a friend recommended that I try the Ilford XP2 Super 400 film. Here is how I found it when I used it in my Diana Mini.

Perfect for afternoon shoots or maybe an evening/night photo illuminated by lanterns!
