Coney Island may be famous for its amusement park, but a stroll along its boardwalk by the beach is also relaxing and you get to enjoy the sea breeze and meet some interesting people. When I visited Coney Island in late April, I quickly fell in love with the place. There's something both magical and nostalgic about it which I can't explain.

Give yourself a break from shopping in New York! Be a kid again, and make sure to be armed with lomography cameras when you visit the Bronx Zoo! One of the best zoological parks in the world, and one of the facilities administered by the renowned Wildlife Conservation Society. The exhibits are all well thought out and place the animals first in both their care and wellbeing.

Whether you're looking for a place to spend the day or night, Bleecker Street is the place to go. Located in the heart of Greenwich Village, this is a beautiful historic street that's great to take a walk on during the day, while at night there are plenty of bars to hit up.

The brightest lights in the biggest city – I took a recent trip to New York and stayed right off Broadway because I wanted to be near where the action is – the theatres, Times Square, Radio City Music Hall. I had my Diana F+ and LCA at the ready to take in every New York minute.
