Lo and behold at the Crestview Train Station is Black Star Coop Brewery and Restaurant. Found on the Metro line, it's the only cooperatively-owned brewery across the globe. Pretty amazing to have a Coop Brewery open to anyone in the Austin community. I had a fresh beer in one hand and my lomo cameras in the other. I was one happy Lomographer!

Living in Leeds with its huge student population, I often feel overwhelmed by the vast range of bars, pubs and clubs on offer and I have written articles about a few of them before. I recently paid a visit to Pinballz Arcade in Austin. This hidden treasure in North Austin is the mecca for all pinball machines, arcade games, and geeky fun. It’s not everyday you get to interact with Dirty Harry, Playboy Bunnies, and Elvira all in one night. Prepare to be amazed!

The location that I am going to talk about is a location where you can find interesting things to shoot at and they are old and meaningful. It is Balestier Road. Balestier Road is named after a man called Joseph Balestier, located in between Novena and Kallang. It is a place for food shops, designer firms, shops for electrical appliances, budget hotels, temples etc. Besides this, you guys can walk down to Whampoa via Balestier, a place for delicious local delights.
