Think Redscale can't be overexposed? Let's run it through three different SLRs... and my closet.

My friend Aileen and I already made a few double exposure projects together. Almost with a previously determined theme and with wonderful results! Here I show you a small selection.

We’ve just entered the month of hallows and it’s about time to have a new showdown started as well! Sadly we’re not going to run another spooky-themed one. So read on what it’ll be this time!

As back to basics draws to a close we look at a true sex object of the 1960's. Capturing everyone from Jean Shrimpton and Twiggy to Mick Jagger and The Beatles. The fully manual SLR.

"Oh help, I'm seeing double" - Don't worry, it's just Double Exposures. But it's not always that simple as it sounds. Here are three basic hints that helped me and will hopefully help you too with your doubles.
-
Say good bye to shutter speed and f/stop guess work with the help of one of the finest light meters available, the Sekonic L508. When you have a fully manual camera without a meter and you want absolutely predictable exposures, you need to go with a light meter that nails it every time.
-
Multiple exposures are a perfect way how to experiment, be creative and sometimes even make your time you spend with your camera more interesting and adventurous. And because it’s a season when you may find flowers everywhere, let’s have some double-flower-fun!
-
Imposing some degree of control can increase the probability that your doubles will turn out good.

WHERE IS THE SPEED? Probably some of us are satisfied with the LC-A+ (hell yeah, its another form of satisfaction) but I get quite irritated with over exposed or under exposed result swhen taking pictures with this honorable player. When you use flash, it always burns your subject's skin tone or any still life objects. This is quite problematic for having appropriate exposure. But after some trial and error, I think we can trick the shutter speed of the LC-A+ (hohoho)!

It's difficult to be focused on the lookout for good photo ops...when you're relaxing and complete at ease at the beach. However, sometimes, those perfect double exposures just happen magically, and showcases the magnificent beauty of nature - double time!

Double exposure surely is a famous technique in Lomography. While the Horizon Perfekt does not have the MX button, and the knob always needs to be advanced to take the next picture, double exposure is still possible for Horizon Perfekt! Read on to find out how!
-
Horizon Perfekt is a fully manual panoramic camera. If you’re familiar with the Sunny 16 Rule, then this is gem; but if you are not, maybe you will get headache. Find out in this quick tipster which settings will help you get correctly exposed photos with your Perfekt shooter!

I can't get enough of disposable cameras, as there are so many exciting things you can do with them. Many will allow you to take off the lens clip and turn the plastic lens the other way round, giving a crazy vignette-focusing effect. Plus, if you smack them hard, you can get multiple exposures out of them!
-
I'm sure you know how to force a long exposure using your favorite LC-A+ camera. By simply by covering the light meter with an electric tape or your finger will fake your LC-A+'s light metering system. Simple right? But in this quickie tipster, I'll teach you the simplest way to do it!

Shadows, as we know it, are dark and maybe gloomy. In this workshop, we’ll be showing you how to take double exposures to an interesting new level, and making shadows and silhouettes work for you to produce amazing, one-of-a-kind lomographs.
