The Minolta X-300 is an SLR built in the eighties. Six months ago, I bought the camera from a guy who's a professional photographer who ownes a photo shop. Although I am just a beginner, I really like this camera and so I will share my experience with this beauty.

With all the wiz-bang innovations coming from the Lomographic Society helping light up all our lives, sometimes its not too late to travel back in time and learn the basics of photography with the Minolta SRT-101 SLR camera!

In this review, I'll tell you about my favorite camera, the Minolta Hi-Matic F, and the benefits of rangefinder cameras.

We found this vintage matchbook from Ansco endorsing Super Anscochrome Tungsten Color Film back in the '50s. It came with an exposure guide for using the film with household light sources such as—you guessed it—matches! Talk about a hot promo concept.

As if vintage cameras weren't cool enough simply because they're, uh, vintage cameras. Now Roberto Altieri has found a way to breathe new life into non-functioning analogue SLRs: he "upcycled" them into iPod/iPhone charging docks!

As all the cameras I currently own, I bought it in a second-hand shop: I saw it and it looked very solid and resistant. Moreover, it looked very easy to use, since it's totally authomatic and I wanted something very easy for my first camera.

In the northern reaches of Seoul, enshrined high on a hill is the tomb of Lee Sang-gil (1556-1637). A civil minister turned leader when he went to fight in the Manchu War of 1637, Lee Sang-gil ended up hanging himself when the Quing invaded Kang-hwa-do the next year. The cemetery is circumscribed by a beautiful traditional Korean wall and has many stoic guardian statues watching over the tombs.

Thinking of taking a Lomo trip? Why not try Budapest in Hungary? It has everything you need, and more, as well as a few surprises.

Let's talk about the perfect camera for all of us obsessive compulsive lomographers who always need to get the perfect exposure, focus and depth of field in every picture. There's no way to not get the results you want with this camera.

I had hoped for something like this when I put the film inside my camera. But when the results came in, boy was I glad how they turned out!

Ok, this is just some reflections after using it for a while...two rolls of the BW film Tri-x and a roll color film Fuji Reala. The weather conditions have not been the best during the test period - Insanely cold, as everyone knows the delicate nature of the high end compacts.

What can I say when I must talk about the camera wished for years? I can say that I take photos from 1977. Until 1983, perhaps of punctual and sporadic form, but from this moment, photography turned into a love for me. At this time, I began using a SLR, but it was not mine, so I started looking for one. It came from 1990, and it was a Minolta X-300, a second-hand one.

Finally, an amazing panoramic camera for a low price. With its 24mm lens, the Minolta Freedom Vista QD takes simply gorgeous panoramic photos.

The Minolta X-570 was introduced in April of 1983. It sold as a less expensive model than the previous X-700. The X-570 is loaded with features that the X-700 didn't have making it ideal for beginning photographers. It only shoots 35mm film but works well with anything you load into it. I chose to add this camera to my arsenal because it is versatile and user-friendly. Because of these qualities, it would make an awesome addition to any Lomographer's collection!

Can we say, "bargain?" How about, "a whole lot of bang for the buck?" That is exactly what you'll get when you try out Kentmere Black and White film! I have used the 400 ISO speed film which is available in the Lomography online store for an incredible five Dollars/Euros/Pounds. I've also seen it in camera shops in America for even less! This is now a mainstay in my camera bag and thanks to its great price and high quality, it will be there for a long time.

The Minolta 110 zoom SLR MkII with macro a stunning piece of kit that should fit in your pocket......

This is the story about my love affair with the Minolta X-700; a beautiful Japanese 35mm single-lens reflex camera. But looks aren't everything (I hear you think), thank god she can make great pictures too, with a little help from myself! Sharp, vibrant, amazing depth of field and I can go on and on and on and on...

It looks, talks, feels and exposes like the legendary Lomo LC-A! What are the differences you ask? Check it out!
