For LGBT month, it seemed important to me to talk about the love of my life through my photos. He is the one who inspires me the most, the one I never miss when it comes to taking pictures. His love and strength makes him my muse. Even if life has not always been kind to us (and especially lately), it will always be there for me and I'll always be there for him.

There are lots of self-portrait shooting methods, and in my article I will tell you about some of them.

I visited sculptor Anish Kapoor’s exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia. Read about it after the jump!

Aside from getting our cameras fresh from the Lomography Online Shop/Gallery Stores, many of us also scour second-hand shops, thrift stores, flea markets, and even our own basements, attics, and storerooms at home for some old cameras, praying that we can still get them to work. Each day we bring home, uncover, and shoot with one, we give these cameras a second chance at life. From there, our analogue days begin or carry on.

Henri Cartier-Bresson once said that "Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst." It was easily the most daunting lesson I took from the esteemed street photographer and photojournalist. But, did he really mean to discourage anyone who decides to pick up a camera and, well, get started taking those unsatisfactory thousands of photos? I think not.

If you've heard about the bubble universe model (Eternal Inflation) the series of photos by Jason Tozer will remind you of the former. We may never know if theories within the spectrum of Cosmology are right, but it's good to think beyond the books, approach the subject-matter from a new slant, such as a romantic one by looking at Tozer's bubbles planets after the jump!

The past year for me has been a bit of a hectic one. Between studying university and traveling, I have tried my hardest to keep developing lomographs and maintain my passion for photography! As I'm sure most of you know, this photographic addiction is not easy to maintain! So here is my documentation of the past year in redscale.

Six months after the review of my TLR Holga, I revisit with a Tipster to eliminate a strange reflection problem. Read my Tipster to find out the solution to this.

9/11 Memorial: a great landmark for the greatest city in the world. As 2011 marks the 10th anniversary of the tragic events that occurred on September 11, 2001, it is important to reflect and remember those closest to us who lost their lives or bravely fought to help and repair our lovely city. The freedom tower is underway yet the memorial ponds have opened to the public for this year's 10th anniversary. When I was finally able to get tickets a month after its grand opening, I took my LC-A along with me.

It is time for self-reflection. What does it mean to live an analogue lifestyle? Is it what we wear on our bodies, or something inside? -- or something much bigger than ourselves as individuals?
-
In which our hero admits his strong infatuation with reflections; both his own and those of objects. Or, using reflective surfaces, other than a typical mirror, to enhance the composition of your shots.
-
I guess it's not something new. I think mostly all of us did this before. Well, reflection from the mirror is always the best way to capture yourself, without the help from others. It's fun, and interesting. It's cute to capture yourself with your camera as well.

An Industrial Vanishing Act... Even if at first you feel physically or emotionally distanced from something or someplace, isn't it strange how such a void seems to intensify your own sense of attachment?

Benjakitti Park is located in the heart of Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. It is very convenient to go there, just take MRT (subway) and get off at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center station. As for me, this park is my favorite! It is not far from my house and it takes only 5 minutes to walk there. Benjakitti Park is a park for health as we are provided many equipments to work out.

I was amazed when I first got the lubitel. It was the opposite of digital – everything was slooooooow! I had to take my time. No 'click click click' with this beast. Even just getting to the viewfinder took a lot of time and effort, unwrapping it from the camera body. Focusing was slow too – slow but deadly accurate. Trying to use the viewfinder and the distance scale in tandem works best for me.
