My Lomography journey originally started 8 years ago when I bought some fotoclips, but I didn't think anything of it at the time. However, all that changed when I bought my Holga 135bc nearly 4 years ago.

Kodak Ultramax 400 was my very first roll of film. It was a gift when I purchased my Holga 135BC. I got it in April 2012 and it was expired on September 2011. Take a look at some of the photos I snapped with this expired film after the jump!

A black-and-white journey to one of the most photographed nations in the world. From the pink cherry blossom petals, to the red lanterns at the Shinto shrines, to the cute and funny, blue robotic cat called Doraemon, and let’s not forget the plaid school girl uniforms, Japan is truly a colorful country.

After receiving my film scans today and browsed them, I realized that I had this weird fixation for 3 months. Picture after picture, same photos and angles I saw from hundreds of scans = windows, trees, sky, and roofs.

In early 2009, I discovered the 'blogosphere' and as well as starting my own blog, I started reading blogs that talked of Diana and Holga cameras... and through the simple act of starting a blog, I started a journey into Lomography which I never could have predicted and quite simply, my first Lomo camera changed my life.

Kraków is hands down one of my top favourite places that we've visited, the atmosphere was amazing, the food was delicious, the beer was great (and cheap) and it was the perfect place to take my little Holga for a few photos.

I embarked on this Russian trip due to my love of Lomo. My journey to Moscow started with a flight from Taichung, with a transit in Hong Kong. The tour leader advised us to bring some thick pullovers but I didn't have a chance to use them as the temperature hit 40 degrees Celsius.
