Art Hunter Sardinas x Simone Legno from tokidoki
We asked some of New York’s hottest designers to lend their talent in designing some of our La Sardina DIY cameras, and we are very excited to share with you the masterpiece of Simone Legno from tokidoki! Simone Legno is the creative director and co-founder of tokidoki, which stands for "sometimes" in Japanese. He chose this word because he feels “everyone waits for moments that change one’s destiny, by chance or by meeting a new person.”

Tinker on the fly: A color filter made from spoiled film
Probably each one of you has been annoyed with failed film. This is particularly annoying when you get the developed film back from the lab, but you get blanks because the film was not exposed. It's either the film transport didn't work, or you have not taken the lens cap off, etc. Read on and I'll show you an alternative to just throwing away the film: Simply use it as a color filter for your camera, with the La Sardina for example.

  • Hong Kong Artist 'Sellwords' La Sardina DIY Black Camera

Hong Kong Artist 'Sellwords' La Sardina DIY Black Camera
When Sellwords started, it arose from a romantic sentiment. On the 1st of January 2013, Sellwords started to regularly upload their words to social networks and to send to readers. They would run down the street, chasing people to present them with their words as a gift, only explaining briefly, so as to allow the individual to discover the meaning for themselves. It is hoped that this rather frank and random behaviour will catalyze peoples romantic spirits to come out and play! Lomography couldn't resist a collaboration with Sellwords to see how they would integrate their romantic words onto one of our La Sardina DIY Black cameras!

  • La Sardina & Fritz The Blitz / Copernicus - My New Baby

La Sardina & Fritz The Blitz / Copernicus - My New Baby
When I pulled out La Sardina Copernicus from it's box I was incredibly excited to be holding such an amazing camera. I had some knowledge of what kind of photos it takes from other Lomographers, but it was not possible to know what it can do before I took photos with it. I still don't know it's limits even though I went through more than 15 films by now. La Sardina is filled with surprises.
