If he’s not busy doing anything from his dayjob, he usually picks up his analogue film cameras – more specially the Supersampler – for some snap-action under the sun! So what exactly draws him on Lomography and using film these days? A lot. Get to know more about our Newcomer of the Week Naksone on this interview!

She’s someone who is no stranger when it comes to Soviet-era vintage cameras, in fact she exclusively shot with them some time ago, and had her hiatus. Until recently, she gained much energy to pick up a camera and use film again! So, what made her come back? A lot! And one of them is Lomography, without a doubt! Get to know more about Yulia as she is our latest Guru for this week!

Typically, for someone who had just opened a newly-bought analogue gear, one would be overtly thrilled with excitement as he or she would have their index finger relentlessly clicking the shutter button the whole day. Our newcomer this week, on the other hand, just knows what he wants to shoot and they are quite saucy, mind you!
-
Just like every true-blue analogue shooter, he never goes out without the Lomo LC-A camera, but one thing though, it’s just that he prefers to seriously think before shooting – with that alone makes him a rare kind of a LomoGuru! We talked with Patorayado this time around about his shooting habits and how easy it is to make friends over camera!
-
We start the month of August with a new feature we have introduced to you a few weeks ago. Our Newcomers and our Gurus, those who we watch out for their fresh and astonishing work, are now in for an exciting collaboration! Come on and Ask Your Guru!
-
Initially, he was blown away by how much of a creative force there is to be found in the Lomographic Community and on the other hand, is quite intrigued at how one can sustain to live a sincere analogue life in at this current age. Regardless of this, he considers himself as one of those people who believe that there is a future with analogue!
-
Despite the unpredictable nature of doing multiple exposures on film, it’s never a waste for her even if there are only a few frames that came out good. This is actually what fascinates her with analogue photography – it’s not how much number of pictures you can take, rather, how you value the snaps you took!
-
He really knows nothing about Lomography ever since he started to learn to take photographs with a digital camera. Not until two years ago when he discovered the art of taking the shot from the hip and the whole culture that surrounds it – he finally found home, and this is where his analogue heart resides currently and no plans of moving out, so far!
-
She has a lot of things she would like to keep with her... forever. But she believes there’s no such thing, as she thought everything would just end and disappear eventually, not until she found Lomography! There’s now a guarantee that she can keep all of her memories in one safe place!
-
To live in a world entirely shot in digital is unthinkable and something not ideal for someone like him who bears a heart made not of glass, but of analogue love! A native of Vienna, Thomas talks about his friends, cameras and the future of film in this Q&A session we had with him!
-
Just like how a volatile virus spreads in the air, is how quickly she caught the analogue bug! And upon her realisation, it’s not that harmful of a virus after all! She’s here with us to tell us more about her latest obsession with cameras and everything Lomography, as she is our Newcomer of the Week!
-
Lomographs has a language of its own and in order for someone to understand and decipher what’s it all about must be an analogue person throughout! Feelux, who inspires himself with anything from the simplest of thingsdown to the most saturated that is Lomography!
-
His interest with ‘real photography’ is what actually attracted him to Lomography in the first place. Along with the talented Community, he aspires himself on pushing the limits of his imagination and never to allow himself to be bound with the ordinary.
-
Just like you, he felt that unmistakable affinity with this camera the very first time he laid his eyes on this little Russian black wonder. Hailing from St. Petersburg (the same city where the Lomo LC-A was conceived) our guru Gleby tells us why it’s his favourite in this exclusive interview!
-
Almost everyone thinks that you really have to travel and go far beyond your usual turf to be able to find something interesting to take pictures of, but Lomopreacher thinks otherwise! Instead, he seeks solitude to the most mundane of things found in his own garden, along with his Lomo camera!
-
Behind his ultra-coloured photographs is a camera that’s been snapping shots for well over than 20 years, in fact it already witnessed an assortment of sights, chronicling everything that’s been happening in his analogue life ever since!
-
School is already back for most of the students out there but that does not mean that they will stop shooting lovely analogue photos and interesting LomoKino movies!
-
He loves his Lomo LC-A+ so dearly that nothing should get between them! In fact he named it Lucia+! Don’t get him wrong though, he just want to make it sure that it is the only one he can call his own – a trustworthy camera he can go anywhere with and can give him the most brilliant Lomographs, with just a click!
-
He's already had his Lomo LC-A for well over 10 years, still in its pristine and unrepaired state, but it’s just recently he decided to join in the fun of analogue snap-sharing in the Lomography website. Indeed a man of few words, let’s get to know our newcomer, Elcalamare!
-
She has already stirred quite a following in our Community because of her lovely Lomographs, articles, and LomoWalls! But then we also have to see that this lady is a keen and brilliant LomoKino filmmaker who is worth looking out for.
