Sometimes when there's nothing interesting going on and nobody else is around, it's hard to find a subject to shoot. But don’t be put down; there is always you! A self-portrait can be made anytime and anywhere. You don’t need to be super vain--no, I think everybody can use some self-portrait time every now and then. What you get is a very interesting collection of “selfies” which is a nice way to look back and capture the most intimate moments of your own life. Nowadays, it’s even easier with everybody carrying smartphones and digital cameras, but nothing beats a good analogue self-portrait.

She shoots photos of nature, a day-in-the-life, intimate encounters. Photographic techniques such as multiple exposure is prevalent. So many photos of our friends, family, pets - we're pretty much their paparazzi. So, sometimes when we catch a glimpse of ourselves in the mirror we think "wait a minute", what about me? Self-portraits are a meditative art and gateway to self-reflection. And though it's less 'personal' nowadays, as it's so commonplace and simple, it's interesting to see how passion, equivalent to Rembrandt, for self-portraiture is still alive with film-photography.

This accessory is capable of giving you a very intimate experience when you watch your LomoKino movies, but there’s so much more to this nifty little viewer. Read more after the jump.

As of today I can’t imagine a life without analogue photography. It’s not only one of my favorite ways to relax and escape from daily life, it’s also a way to show that same life and share it with others. Also professionally, I prefer working analogue and it helped me create my ‘handwriting’ during my design study. When did this start? Not even that long ago, in a place not so far away…

Every photo has a story apart from what was caught on film. Here, I present some photos from my trip to Vigan last year and tell the stories behind them.

Saying goodbye to my companion for the last 7 years. Last week I said goodbye to my dog, Maya - my companion and a lady. Maya was 14 years of age, a respectable age for a dog. The last year was not an easy one for her, getting old and all the difficulties and discomforts coming with it.
