  In the beginning of December the First Lomography Pop-Up Store in Russia was opened! It is placed in the very heart of Moscow city in the Tsvetnoy Central Market which is on the Tsvetnoy boulevard nearby the subway station with the same name. This place is intended to be the center of everyone’s attention and is going to become the truly special for the film photo fans and those who practice an artistic, bright and crazy lifestyle.

It is close to all the major tourist attractions such as the Church of the Savior on Blood, Field of Mars, and many others, two of St Petersburg’s most beautiful canals meet and three bridges, which cross them come together in one.

  We tend to think of moments in history in black and white, but these well-preserved glass negatives by Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii, featuring scenes from the Czarist 1900s, reveal life in revolutionary Russia in full color. Endorsed by the last czar Nicholas II, we are able to view these unique images today via digichromatography.
