No matter how many times I pass by this place, it never ceases to inspire me to take at least a photograph or two with whatever film camera I have with me that day. Architecture rules volontarly broken make crazy cube houses in Rotterdam. The cube houses (or Kubuswoningen in Dutch) were built in 1984 by architect Piet Blom in Rotterdam and Helmond in the Netherlands. These could have been common houses if they hadn't been turned at 45 degrees and placed on concrete pylons!

Pinkpop is a yearly, three-day festival in Landgraaf, The Netherlands. For years it is in the weekend of Pinksteren (dutch for pentecost). In 2009 was the 40 year anniversery of the festival with artist like Bruce Springsteen, Placebo, Depeche Mode and a lot more.

World renowned artist and Lomographer David Rusbatch, has completed a series of original paintings and limited edition photographs based on the life of Mr Howard Marks (aka MR NICE). A date for the exhibition is yet to be decided, but Lomography members get an exclusive look at the paintings and Holga created work to feature as part of the exhibition! Plus Howard Marks himself has signed and fingerprinted each piece of work.
